Austin Lakeside Properties began in 1987, when Donna Garrison launched a small vacation-rental program for cabins and lake houses along the Lake Travis shoreline. She matched families with the right getaway, learned every cove and neighborhood, and earned a reputation for honest dealing. Word spread, repeat guests started asking her to help them buy, and the rental program grew into a full-service real estate brokerage.
That local knowledge is still the heart of the company. We did not move to the lake to sell homes. We already lived here, on the water, raising a family and getting to know the people and the property. When you work with Austin Lakeside Properties, you get decades of firsthand experience on one lake, not a franchise reading from a script.
Will Garrison now leads the brokerage as owner-broker. He runs it on the same principle that built it: know the water, know the neighborhoods, and treat every client like the only one. The tagline says it plainly. We are here for a weekend or for a lifetime.

Before real estate, Will served in the United States Marine Corps. The discipline, straight talk, and follow-through he learned there show up in every transaction. Will has held a Texas real estate license since 2001, and he holds Texas Real Estate License #494376. He works the Lake Travis market every single day, so he prices from real local sales and current waterfront demand rather than a guess. His specialty is lakefront homes, deep-water estates, and waterfront condos, and he also represents buyers and sellers of Hill Country homes throughout the area.
His work has been recognized beyond the lake. Will was named to the Austin Business Journal Platinum Top 50 for three years running, from 2016 through 2018, an award reserved for the region's highest-producing agents. He carries that standard into deals of every size, from a first cabin to a multimillion-dollar waterfront estate.
