Will Garrison is the owner-broker of Austin Lakeside Properties and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He has sold Lake Travis waterfront homes since 2001, backed by a family brokerage his mother Donna started in 1987.
Austin Lakeside Properties began in 1987, when Donna Garrison launched a small vacation-rental program for cabins and lake houses along the Lake Travis shoreline. She matched families with the right getaway, learned every cove and neighborhood, and earned a reputation for honest dealing. Word spread, repeat guests started asking her to help them buy, and the rental program grew into a full-service real estate brokerage.
That local knowledge is still the heart of the company. We did not move to the lake to sell homes. We already lived here, on the water, raising a family and getting to know the people and the property.
